1 hr. + Adventure to Turtle Cove

If you are new at Kayaking or Stand Up Paddling this trip up river is perfect for an hour or  more.  Going upriver to Turtle Cove is a great Adventure. Turtle Cove is a little jet of land that is at the base of Plum Creek. You can find great natural and manmade treasures. Also see some local and migrating birds and wildlife.  It is not uncommon to see art sculptures made with these found natural and manmade items on the jetty.  When the water is high you can venture up Plum Creek. There is a beaver damn and a famous rope swing if you dare.
